I just came back from a first time visit to NYC! Wow, what an amazingly electric vibrant city. Everyone keeps asking me, what did you like best? I can't honestly think of anything that stood out as "best" to me. I enjoyed being in a place that carries so much history mostly. I like seeing the variety of people, cultures, and architecture. Being able to capture some of those iconic images is a necessity for a photographer! I mean, I understand that almost all of the photos I took are exactly the same photos as another, but they are MINE! That's what I love about it! :)
I also spent some time with my best bud. She lives about a 70 miles from NYC. I think keeping relationships strong is what we all crave. In order to do that, we all need to connect with people. I talk to all my friends on a weekly basis, even if it's a simple "hey how's life" message or if it's a quick Instant Messenger chat. Remaining in contact with the people that we value is important and it's always something I strive to do.
