What Love Looks Like - Kurt Bensworth

I finished "What Love Looks Like" in record time. I would generally consider myself a slow reader, but somehow I finished this book in a few hours.

Kurt Bensworth's book was overall a joy to read. I was a little apprehensive to read it at first because I generally do not enjoy romantic novels, but thought I would give this book a try mostly because it takes place in Orange County, CA. At first, I thought the book might be a little corny because of the main characters being in high school, but I thought the author portrayed this aspect perfectly.

At times the book is painful because of the heartache, but maybe it was only painful because we have all been there? We all know how it feels to have our hearts broken? I think the central theme of the book is great-- reconnecting with people. I have thought about this concept since reading the book, and I think that generally people do want to be reached out to. People want to reconnect but do not know how. They feel it's too long, or wonder what they would say. According to Bensworth, it's never too late...
